Welcome to the Free to Fly Foundation Single Mom Fund (FFFSMF).
The Free To Fly Foundation Single Moms Fund provides single mother families in Humboldt County with support in the areas of survival, practical, and spiritual needs. Our programs include and are not limited to financial assistance, drug and alcohol recovery support, career advancement tools and parenting. We provide single moms with information and referrals to other community resources and programs to help them get service connected. Our programs are designed to improve their lives, as well as their contribution to our community. Over the years, our organization has helped hundreds of single mothers in domestic abuse situations, drug dependency, homelessness, and poverty in Humboldt county. Our vision is to see that no single mother in Humboldt county walks alone.

What to expect in person =
-Dinner at 5:00pm in the kitchen
- Kids transition to child care 5:30- 5:45pm
- Group starts at 5:45-6pm sharp
-Topic of the month
- Raffles
- Clothing Closet voucher’s issued
- Take home gifts for ALL
- Shop in the Clothing Closet 7:00-7:30pm
- Pick up kids 7:30pm sharp
Childcare is provided to age 10. If you have a child that has turned 11 they must apply to be a youth helper. Please do not assume that they will be helping us. We like to interview your child to see if they are a good fit and will be able to do all the required duties. Also the interview will need to happen 2 weeks before the group meeting.
